Sourcing Manager

Job Purpose:

The Sourcing Manager is responsible for handling the Bank’s end-to-end sourcing operations, to deliver exceptional sourcing performance through proper monitoring of market trends and compliance with professional sourcing and procurement guidelines in the implementation of all Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Projects related to the entire Bank’s demands and Spend.

Sourcing Manager is responsible for maintaining strategic relationships with key suppliers and minimizing risks through the contractual process.

Essential

• Excellent technical knowledge of the various products/ commodities.
• A good understanding of computerized procurement systems.
• Detailed understanding of policies and objectives of the Bank’s strategic supplies function
• Detailed understanding of the principles and concepts of Supplies/Procurement Management.
• Basic Knowledge of the legal terminology and language related to supplier and/or vendor agreements and contracts.
• Good presentation and communication skills
• Good management , motivation and coaching skills .

Preferred:

• A detailed understanding of the planning and budgeting processes and methodology
